  6. Murg hyderabadi biriyani Net +1
“I ordered their customer favorite Murg Hyderabadi Biriyani and a Paya Yakhni Soup to start off with based on their recommendation. There was something amiss in the taste of the soup, which I made more palatable with a little lemon and pepper. The Biriyani was excellently prepared, with boneless chicken pieces, which made it easier to consume. The flavor & spiciness was also perfectly balanced and spot on. The only complaints I had with the same was that the rice was a tad undercooked and oilier for my preference and I was expecting more from the Biriyani that was priced at a premium.”

Food 13

  1. Bhuna gosht Net −1
“Our weekend was set when we collectively decided to visit gazebo for dinner. On our arrival the staff wasn’t accommodating in giving us a seat, and the service overall was slow. We ordered two starters, out of which one was cold and bland. Our main course bhuna gosht was extremely sweet instead of spicy. The entire gravy was filled with sweet caramelized onions which overpowered the dish. Besides that we ordered the Hyderabadi biryani and fattoush salad. I wouldn’t consider their biryani as best, because it wasn’t something exceptional, flavors were repetitive just like all Indian restaurants in Dubai. Overall, place is overhyped and overpriced. Might need convincing to revisit them again!”
  2. Biryani with saffron Net −1
“With regard to food, there'll be waiting time coz they prepare freshly cooked food only. Chicken pieces were so tender and chewy soft no matter what dish it will be. I just didn't like the biryani with saffron coz the saffron was too strong which made it taste like plastic already, could have been perfect otherwise.”
  3. Chicken lahori chefs special Net −1
“After lot of recommendations went to try Gazebo, ordered Chicken Lahori chefs special, with disappointmenyhave to say it was not worth it, despite we asked waiter if it was spicy🌶️🌶️as we wanted to eat spicy. Apparently he served itwith green chilies on the top, still tasted sweet.😞”
  4. Dum murgh korma Net −1
“And 2nd dish was Dum Murgh korma. To be frank it was not up to the standard. It tasted as if boiled chicken had been put in tasteless gravy and that chicken was not fresh in my opinion.. I had guest and they pointed that chicken is not fresh..”
  5. Hyderabadi biryani Net −1
“Our weekend was set when we collectively decided to visit gazebo for dinner. On our arrival the staff wasn’t accommodating in giving us a seat, and the service overall was slow. 6. Lasooni paneer Net −1
“Paneer tikka or Lasooni Paneer were not so good.”
  7. Masala papad Net −1
“🔸 Masala Papad: Unfortunately, the Masala Papad was a bit underwhelming.”
  8. Naan Net −1
“Naan wasn't that soft and Hyderabadi Subzi had curry leaves with rye seeds.”
  9. Paya yakhni soup Net −1
“I ordered their customer favorite Murg Hyderabadi Biriyani and a Paya Yakhni Soup to start off with based on their recommendation. There was something amiss in the taste of the soup, which I made more palatable with a little lemon and pepper.”
  10. Shahi tukda Net −1
“Good food, good service, they take some time for grilled stuff but it’s worth the wait. Their Biryani is supposed to be good too. Their Shahi Tukda has gone downhill though.”
  11. Thandori roti Net −1
“Lastly the size of tandoori was as small a normal chapti and charged us AED 4 for each thandori roti.”
  12. Veg tawa masala Net −1
“Ordered veg tawa masala and expected it to be filled with all the veggies. Turns out that 60 percent of the sabzi was broccoli only and 20 percent was cauliflower. just fooling the customer for over charging and under delivering.”
  13. Paneer tikka Net −2
“I recently ordered Paneer Tikka from this place, and it was quite disappointing. The paneer was very hard and lacked freshness. The pieces were extremely thin, with just a light coating of masala, and it seemed like extra pepper was added on both sides just to make them look bigger. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no taste.”

  1. Mango lassi Net −1
“Mango lassi was not as thick as expected.”

The Bottom Line

Gazebo is a contemporary Indian restaurant in Al Mankhool with a relaxed, polished dining room and a menu built around traditional North Indian cooking. Biryani is the main reason many diners return: the Mutton Hyderabadi Biriyani, Chicken Mumbai Biriyani and pot biryani all receive specific praise. Kebabs, especially the Gulati Mutton Kabab and Murgh Kali Mirch, are also strong choices in the reviews.

The setting suits family dinners and special occasions, with several diners noting the spacious, clean interiors and professional service. Food is often served promptly, and staff have been praised for helping guests choose dishes. Vegetarian diners can look beyond the meat-heavy menu too, with subz dum biryani and stuffed mushroom biryani mentioned positively.

There are some practical trade-offs. Prices are regularly described as high, and one diner felt portions were small for the cost. Service can slow during busy periods, while parking around the restaurant is a recurring headache.

A few dishes have also been inconsistent, including hard paneer tikka and overly sweet or bland gravies. For a smoother first visit, order dishes together, ask about spice levels, and allow time to find parking. Sharing a biryani or kebab selection may make the premium pricing easier to manage.
