Tips for a Better Visit
Confirm fees. Confirm the current RTA eye-test fee before visiting; one review reported AED 140 online versus AED 180 in store.
Allow time. For insurance purchases, allow extra time: a review says buying two lens boxes took 55 minutes.
Check frames. Inspect existing glasses when handing them in for lens changes, since one customer said the glasses came back broken.
Verify appointments. Call ahead to confirm a booked eye-test appointment, after a review reported the doctor had left before the appointment time.
Expect speed. If you only need an RTA renewal test, reviews suggest the process can be finished in under five minutes.

The Bottom Line
Glance Optics LLC RTA EYE TEST is an optician in Motor City, with reviews pointing most clearly to quick RTA eye tests and driving-licence renewals. Several customers finished testing in two to five minutes, making it convenient when the goal is simply to complete the required vision check. The shop also handles regular eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses and frame selection, although the reviews are more specific about exams and eyewear than about contact-lens purchases.
For glasses, the experience can be quite hands-on in a good way. One customer described a thorough examination, detailed prescription explanation and patient help while trying frames, with no pressure to buy. Another praised the fit and clarity of new lenses, while other reviews mention a varied sunglasses collection, the TitanFlex frame collection and expertise with multi focal lenses.
There are some practical cautions. Two customers reported rude or impatient treatment, and another said glasses returned from a lens change were broken. Appointment reliability has also been questioned after a customer said the doctor had twice left before a booked appointment.
Most importantly, confirm the fee before setting out: reviews mention AED 140 for the RTA test, while others report being charged AED 180. Insurance purchases may also take considerably longer; one review says buying two lens boxes took 55 minutes.
