The Bottom Line
Al Amin Opticals in Al Barsha South is a practical stop for eye tests, frames, lenses and quick glasses repairs. Customers repeatedly describe staff as patient and helpful, especially when explaining lens choices, frame options and insurance. One reviewer received a complimentary eye check with a glasses purchase, while another said a lens order arrived within two days.
Repairs are a notable strength. Reviews describe loose screws, broken glasses, Ray-Bans and even Cartier frames being fixed quickly, sometimes immediately and without charge. That makes the shop useful for a small emergency as well as a full eyewear purchase.
The selection is described as broad, with affordable options alongside branded frames and different lens choices. Prices and promotions are worth checking before you commit. One customer reported a 30 AED eye check, free when taking glasses, frames from about 300 AED and lenses from 150 AED; another quoted 250 AED for a frame and computer-lens package.
These are customer-reported figures, not a current price list. Most service feedback is positive, but two reviews describe rude communication, and one reports an order taking more than three days. If timing matters for a flight or exam, confirm the promised completion date clearly.
