What to Avoid (1)

Food 1

  1. Chicken fry with noodles Net −1
“I would like to express my disappointment with my recent visits. I have been eating the chicken fry with noodles at Intizar for the past four years. We even used to travel from Barsha to International City because it has always been our favorite. When you opened in Barsha, we ate almost every weekend. However, recently the food quality has not been consistent. One time, it was too dry. On another visit, it was very salty. During our last visit, too many spices were added, which made our tongues numb and we could not even taste the food. 😡”

Request less salt. Ask for less salt when ordering, since one reviewer found the default seasoning too salty.

The Bottom Line

Intizar Leziz is a Uyghur restaurant in Al Barsha that draws diners for hand-pulled laghman, plov, samsa and kebabs. The strongest recurring theme is handmade noodles: reviews describe them as fresh, chewy and packed with flavour, while plov and lamb dishes also receive warm mentions. It is a useful choice when you want filling regional food rather than a formal, small-plate meal.

The setting suits groups. Customers mention big tables, a calm and clean dining room, and enough space for family gatherings. RTA parking is reported just opposite, which makes the Al Barsha branch easier to reach by car.

Portions are often described as generous, so sharing or asking about serving sizes may be worthwhile. There are some important caveats. Several recent reviews describe unusually long waits, including one visit with only a single cook on duty, and a delivery order arrived well after its estimate without an update.

Seasoning can also run salty or very spicy; ask for less salt and be clear about your heat preference. If you are booking a large group, confirm the time in writing, as one family reported a disagreement over a 1 pm reservation.
