What to Eat at KFC How we choose these items We use AI to find praise and criticism of specific foods and drinks in a selection of Google reviews. For KFC, this list is based on 50 reviews, not every review of the restaurant. The score is positive reviews minus negative reviews. For example, two positive reviews and one negative review give +1. Each review counts once per item; neutral comments do not change the score. A zero score is not a positive recommendation. “Only neutral feedback” means there are no positive or negative votes. “Mixed feedback” means equal numbers of positive and negative votes. The quotes are examples of what people said, not every comment we counted. We use different reviews where we can. We normally show up to 10 foods and 5 drinks with non-negative scores. Items with the same score stay together. If a tied group would go past the limit, that group and the lower non-negative scores go into Honorable mentions. If an overflowing positive top tie would leave the list empty, we show up to 10 items from that tie and keep the rest in Honorable mentions. Foods and drinks with a negative score are under What to Avoid. Use this as a guide to what reviewers liked, not a guarantee that you will like it too.
Foods and drinks mentioned in reviews of KFC, ranked by positive reviews minus negative reviews. Zero-score items have no net positive feedback; their labels distinguish neutral-only from mixed feedback.

Tips for a Better Visit
Check Orders. Before leaving, open the bag and verify every combo component; a previous takeaway customer found one meal missing and only a drink from another.
Verify Stock. Ask about unavailable items before paying, since one order revealed missing bread, a drink and an add-on only at collection.
Avoid Crowds. If speed matters, try an off-peak visit rather than a major event or heavy mall rush; crowding has caused extremely slow service.
Use Outdoor Seats. For the branch’s distinctive experience, look for outdoor seating facing the fountain; evening shows are visible from there.
Recheck Kiosk. Review the collected tray against your kiosk selections, as customization has not always been reflected in the delivered meal.

The Bottom Line
KFC in Downtown Dubai, inside Dubai Mall, works well as a straightforward break between shops: order fried chicken, spicy wings, burgers, fries or combo meals, then eat in the food court or look for seating with a Dubai Fountain view. The outdoor tables are the distinctive draw, with evening water shows visible from some seats. Food reviews are mostly positive when orders go smoothly.
Customers describe the chicken as fresh, hot, crispy and flavourful, while spicy chicken and the usual sides are recurring favourites. Families with children have also recommended the branch, and some visitors found service quick even during a busy mall atmosphere. The main caution is operational rather than culinary.
Several customers received incomplete orders, including missing drinks, bread, add-ons or an entire combo component. One review also says kiosk customisations were ignored, so check the bag or tray before walking away. Service has ranged from warm and efficient to slow or unhelpful, particularly during crowds; one customer waited more than 20 minutes, while a New Year’s Eve package involved very slow service and disappointing value.
If you want the view, allow extra time and confirm every item at collection.
