  4. Sliced taglita steak Net +2
“I ordered the SLICED TAGLIATA STEAK. It’s pretty small for a portion to be eaten alone as a side dishes this plate comes with are 2 big spoons of salad and 2 big spoons of mashed potatoes. When it comes to taste I would give the mash 10/10 it was so smooth & yummy, not too buttery (just right). The steak was cooked as I wanted it being medium well, was not chewy at all, delicious taste. The salad was also good but it would have preferred if they increase the portions 1.5x.”

The Bottom Line

Le Petit Beefbar is a polished French-style restaurant in DIFC where the main draw is meat cooked with care. Reviews mention filet mignon, Australian wagyu ribeye and steak frites, while the menu also reaches beyond beef with salmon, fish and lighter bowls. That makes it workable for a business lunch as well as a slower dinner.

The setting is elegant but not overly formal: diners describe comfortable seating, tasteful music and a calm atmosphere where conversation is possible. Several reviews praise the service as attentive and professional, and one regular says the standard has stayed consistent across dozens of visits. Happy hour is another reason to drop in, especially if you want drinks before dinner.

Lunch has a useful spread, with quesadillas, steak frites and a keto bowl with salmon among the reported favourites. Breakfast and brunch also have a following, particularly for shakshuka and French brioche toast. The mashed potato is often singled out as a standout side, and the after-lunch pastry plate with coffee is worth leaving room for.

There are some uneven reports: a few diners found steaks dry, the Rock corn stodgy and cold, or portions of sliced tagliata too small. Prices are described as high for dinner, though some reviewers feel the setting and quality justify it.
