Check stock. Ask the specific branch whether it carries your book before travelling; one reviewer said a branch did not sell books.
Confirm returns. Before ordering online, confirm the exchange process and whether an in-store visit will be required.
Verify delivery. For time-sensitive orders, confirm availability and the actual delivery date rather than relying only on the estimate.

The Bottom Line
Magrudy's Head Office in Deira is linked by customer reviews to educational books, university study materials, discounted books and school supplies. It could be useful for someone sourcing several copies at once: one reviewer specifically praised the pricing for bulk book purchases, while another said the selection included titles normal stores do not carry. The reviews also point to school uniforms, stationery and an educational-books operation.
Uniform quality received a clear positive mention, and one visitor described the setting as neat, refreshing and peaceful. Staff feedback is mixed but includes several accounts of friendly, accommodating and professional help. The main caution is consistency.
Stock can vary by branch; one reviewer said a branch did not sell books at all. Online ordering also attracted complaints about having to visit a shop for returns, unclear policy knowledge, delayed books and unanswered calls. If you are ordering for a class, university term or event, check availability and delivery timing directly before paying.
The review set includes comments about Jumeirah, airport, Reem and Al Bawadi locations as well as the head-office listing, so treat branch-specific praise or complaints as location-dependent rather than assuming every Magrudy's outlet is identical.
