The Bottom Line
The Toys Home in The Centro is a practical stop for toys, children’s gifts and occasion shopping. Reviews describe a tidy, well-organized store with a surprisingly large interior, plus an adjacent party store. The range is described as broad and varied, though one customer felt it was fairly standard for Dubai rather than unusually distinctive.
Gift shopping is where the store seems most useful. Staff are repeatedly credited with helping customers choose suitable presents, including gifts for a first birthday, a son, a daughter and welcome gifts. The shop also wraps presents, and several customers specifically praised the finished wrapping.
For celebrations, shoppers have bought balloon arrangements and gender reveal balloons; one 40th-birthday arrangement was still going strong five days later. There is one important party-supply caveat. A review reported finding no ribbons, birthday bags or birthday cards, so check availability if you need those finishing touches.
The store has also accommodated a customer who called ten minutes before closing, although calling ahead is still the safer choice for a late visit. Overall, it suits shoppers who want help choosing a gift and the convenience of wrapping or balloons in the same stop.
